Wigan to sell Bogle
Wigan to sell Bogle

Town May Be Due Sell-On Fee

By: Luke Pawley
Date: 02/07/2017

WIGAN Athletic may sell former Town striker Omar Bogle to fund a move for Preston North End's Eoin Doyle.

That's according to Alan Nixon, a highly regarded journalist working for The Sun (admittedly not a very highly regarded paper.)

However, Nixon is almost always bang on the money - and he broke the news of Town's interest in Tyler Walker a week ago.

Nixon tweeted the following on Sunday morning (2 July):

"Wigan want Doyle at Preston. May even sell Bogle to raise funds."

This is exciting news for Mariners fans, as it is understood that the club has inserted a sell-on fee in the deal that took Bogle to Wigan on deadline day this January.
