Danny Boshell was the only change, coming in for the injured Kalala.

Lee Bradbury seized upon a poor clearance by Rob Atkinson to give the Cherries the lead on 6 mins.

Town came close to scoring within minites when Jalal struggled to control the ball in the wind and Jarman dispossessed the 'keeper.

Newey almost scored a spectacular own goal with a 40 yard backpass, but Barnes just managed to get a head to it.

Newey did the same on 30, his backpass going straight into the pass on Bradbury, but Atkinson got in a last minute challenge.

On 42 minutes Town got a corner, which Bennett knocked down to Jamie Clarke who volleyed the ball into the roof of the net from close range with his left foot.

With a minute Ryan Bennett gave Town the lead, looping a header over the keeper from a pinpoint pass by Tom Newey.

After the break Sammy Igoe attempted to lop Phil Barnes and his attempt went just over.

Bournemouth's 'keeper Jalal was knocked unconscious on 60, but managed to get up and carry on.

Within minutes Rob Atkinson powered a header into the net from a corner to put Grimsby 3-1 up.

Phil Barnes could only parry a Lee Bradbury header away and Darren Anderton knocked the ball in from close range to make the score 3-2 with 12 minutes to go.

With 7 minutes to go Cooper was given a second yellow card for a foul against Proudlock.

With 2 minutes to go Bournemouth levelled the game through Bradbury, who slid in to divert a shot past Phil Barmes.
